Here is a detailed breakdown for this unique star concept. Starting at the top star peak of this white outlined navy-blue star, notice the top peak of the star has a white horizontal line near the top portion of the peak. The top peak of the star is a large upper-case letter A. Focus on the star, and you will see that it states A KANSAS CITY STAR, not just KANSAS CITY STAR.

On the bottom left west star peak, the Kansas City, Kansas side you will see the image of a sunflower because Kansas is the sunflower state. And you see the nickname "SUNFLOWER STATE", and the year 1861 which is the birth year of the state of Kansas. Also, you will see the city name of, Kansas City, Kansas and a yellow and gold outlined number 34th because Kansas is the 34th state. And finally, the state colors red, white, blue, yellow and gold have been incorporated into this concept.

On the bottom right east star peak, the Kansas City, Missouri side, you will see the image of a skeptical emoji and the nickname "SHOW-ME STATE" because Missouri is the show-me state.
